It is expected that the first to receive electronic deferrals will be people with disabilities, as well as undergraduate and graduate students. Later, parents with many children will receive them.
Mobile application Reserve+ will offer a service for processing deferments for men liable for military service. According to the plan of the Ministry of Defense, the first electronic postponements will be received by people with disabilities, students and graduate students in November. This was announced by Deputy Minister of Defense for Digitalization Ekaterina Chernogorenko in a telethon on Thursday, October 31.
“We are now actively testing the service of instant electronic postponements in November, in the next update Reserve+, this service will definitely come out,” the official said.
It is expected that the first to receive electronic deferments will be people with disabilities, as well as undergraduate and graduate students. Later, parents with many children will receive them.
The department is moving towards ensuring that all categories of military personnel eligible for a deferral can apply for it online.
“This function was made possible thanks to the fruitful cooperation of various ministries. For example, in the case of students, it is the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Education and Science… The launch of the postponement is one of our priorities. We understand that this function will improve the lives of our citizens,” – added the Deputy Minister.
Citizens will be given the opportunity to log into the application, submit a request and “in a few minutes, if the status information is confirmed in other registers, the postponement is loaded directly into the application and in military electronic account.”
As you know, June 18 at Reserve+ an electronic military registration document and a QR code for data verification appear.
The Ministry of Defense has also shared instructions on how to generate an electronic copy of a military registration document.
