Air defense forces shot down 17 Russian drones and two missiles

The air defense is operated in Odessa, Kyiv, Cherkassy, ​​​​​​Kirovograd, Kharkov, Zaporozhye, Dnepropetrovsk, Donetsk and Poltava regions.

Air defense forces shot down two Kh-59/69 guided missiles on the night of October 30 in the Odessa region. And at 08:00 on October 31, the downing of 17 enemy UAVs was confirmed. 23 drones disappeared from the location, three more Russian UAVs left the controlled airspace in the direction of the Russian Federation and the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine. The Air Force reported it.

It was noted that on the night of October 31, 2024 (from 18:30 on October 30), Russian troops attacked the bridge across the Dniester estuary at Zatoka in the Odessa region. Two Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles were launched from Crimea and eight Kh-59/69 guided missiles from tactical aircraft over the Black Sea.

The Russians also attacked Kramatorsk with two Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles from the Rostov region.

From the direction of Kursk and Orel (Russian Federation), the enemy attacked with 43 Shahed attack UAVs and unknown drones.

The air attack was repelled by anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units and mobile fire groups of the Air Force and Defense Forces of Ukraine.

Air defense is managed in the regions of Odessa, Kyiv, Cherkassy, ​​​​​​Kirovograd, Kharkov, Zaporozhye, Dnepropetrovsk, Donetsk and Poltava.

We remind you that thanks to the work of the air defense and electronic warfare forces, that night all the attack drones with which the Russian troops tried to attack Kyiv were neutralized.

And on the night of October 30, air defense forces destroyed 33 enemy drones, and another 25 were lost locally.
