On the night of today, October 29 (from 10 p.m. on October 28), the Russian invaders carried out another massive air attack on Ukraine.
This was reported on the Telegram channel of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The enemy attacked Ukraine:
- an Iskander-M ballistic missile launched from occupied Crimea towards Krivoy Rog
- 48 attack UAVs of the “Shahed” type and unidentified type drones in the Russian directions of Orel and Kursk – Russian Federation.
The air attack was repelled by anti-aircraft missile forces, aviation, electronic warfare units and mobile fire groups of the Air Force and Defense Forces of Ukraine, the report said. — Air defense worked in the Kyiv, Cherkassy, Vinnitsa, Zhitomir, Khmelnytsky, Sumy, Chernihiv and Poltava regions.
As of 09.00:
- 26 enemy UAVs confirmed downed;
- 20 drones were lost;
- one drone returned to Russia.
