Kharkov Gosprom was directly hit by a Russian air bomb.
The head of the Kharkov region police, Vladimir Timoshko, announced this on the evening of October 28.
According to him, it hit the entrance where the economic court is located: the bomb flew straight into the office of one of the judges.
According to preliminary data, Russian troops used a high-explosive bomb with a planning and correction module.
Gosprom is an architectural monument in the constructivist style in the center of Kharkov on Freedom Square. The name stands for State Industry Building.
Derzhprom was built during 1925-1928. In 2017, Kharkov Gosprom was included in the previous UNESCO World Heritage List as an architectural monument in the constructivist style. Last September, UNESCO included Derzhprom on the list of sites for enhanced protection.
