Russia’s daily losses at the front are approaching a record

The Ukrainian military burned about 60 more units of Russian armored vehicles, including 12 tanks.

On the day of October 24, the aggressor country Russia lost 1,690 military personnel on the front in Ukraine. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this in its morning report on Saturday, October 26.

Daily losses were close to the greatest during the war. Today the record is Russian losses on May 12, 2024 – 1,740 enemy troops.

In total, since the beginning of the war, Russia has lost approximately 687,600 military personnel killed and wounded.

Russia’s total combat losses since the start of the war:

  • tank – 9109 (+12 per day) units,

  • armored combat vehicles – 18332 (+45) units,

  • artillery system – 19782 (+29) units,

  • MLRS – 1240 (+2) units,

  • air defense means ‒ 984 (+2) units,

  • aircraft – 369(+0) units,

  • helicopter – 329 (+0) units,

  • UAV of operational-tactical level – 17726 (+56),

  • cruise missiles – 2625 (+0),

  • ship/boat – 28 (+0) units,

  • submarines – 1 (+0) unit,

  • vehicle equipment and tank trucks – 27460 (+95) units,

  • special equipment – ​​3541 (+6).

Earlier, the media reported that September was the bloodiest month of the war for Russian troops in Ukraine. Military analysts estimate Russian losses at an average of more than 1,200 people per day.
