A complaint of harassment against the chief prosecutor of the ISS, Karim Khan, was filed by the secretary of the Office of the Prosecutor of the Court.
The International Criminal Court is reviewing charges against ISS Chief Prosecutor Karim Khan for allegedly advancing on an employee, which became public knowledge last week. This was stated in a statement issued on October 24 by the head of the Assembly of States Parties to the Rome Statute of the ISS, reports European Pravda.
It noted that an internal review has begun based on an independent oversight mechanism (IOM).
“The Court has a zero-tolerance policy for prohibited conduct such as harassment, particularly sexual harassment, discrimination and abuse of power,” asserted the President of the Assembly.
As you know, a complaint against the prosecutor of the ISS because of the alleged claims became known at the end of last week from the publication of the British tabloid Daily Mail. It is said that the complaint was filed by the secretary of the Office of the Prosecutor of the Court.
It was previously reported that the famous illusionist David Copperfield was accused of sexually assaulting 16 women. Moreover, some of them may be minors.
