During the Russian drone attack on Ukraine tonight, two objects violated Romanian airspace.

On the evening of Thursday, October 24, the Romanian Ministry of Defense again reported the violation of the country’s airspace by two objects, which are likely Russian drones, Reuters reports.

It was noted that two unfamiliar signals appeared on the radars of the air defense forces with a difference of about an hour. They are found in the counties of Constanta and Tulcea – the latter bordering Ukraine along the Danube.

The F-16s scrambled to image the targets, but again neither pilot spotted any of the targets before they disappeared from radar.

We remind you that drones have been flying regularly in Romania recently. So, on October 19, Romanian fighters took off from an unknown target.

Also on October 17, Romania scrambled four fighter jets after an unidentified flying target crossed the border.
