In Sumy, as a result of Russian shelling on October 22, 14-year-old schoolgirl Anna Kushnareva, along with her mother and aunt, died; the child’s father survived, but received numerous injuries.
A Russian suicide bomber entered the family’s home.
Neighbors managed to find the 50-year-old man and take him away from his house, while his woman and daughter were trapped under the rubble. Anna’s older brother, who lives in Kyiv, left for Sumy as soon as he learned about the tragedy.
Teachers remember Anya as kind, sociable and diligent; the girl was also fond of the canine sport of agility and participated in competitions.
According to journalists, Anna’s beloved dog named Yuma survived the Russian attack – the animal is in serious condition in the hospital.
