Russia could not continue its aggression without help, and if left without foreign resources, the war would soon be over. Deputy Permanent Representative of the United States to the UN Robert Wood said this at a meeting of the UN Security Council on Monday, October 21, Ukrinform reports.
He noted that Russia is suffering extraordinary losses on the battlefield thanks to the bravery and efficiency of the Ukrainian military and recalled information about the transfer of North Korea’s military to the Russian Federation.
“Russia cannot continue its aggression without help,” the US envoy to the UN said, adding that this means “the war will end if Iran and North Korea stop providing military aid, and if China has stopped providing dual-use goods and substances”.
The diplomat stressed that the cooperation of the Russian Federation with the DPRK, Iran and China increases threats to peace and security outside Ukraine. This applies not only to Europe, but also to the Indo-Pacific region, the Middle East and Africa.
Earlier, a South Korean satellite recorded the movement of North Korean troops on Russian territory: there were 1,500 special forces soldiers in Vladivostok.
The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate, Budanov, says that about 11 thousand North Korean infantrymen are undergoing combat training in eastern Russia. They will be sent to the front in November.
