The United States sent information to Hungary that a group of young people on the Internet discussed carrying out a provocation during the action on October 23, dedicated to the anniversary of the Hungarian Revolution of 1956, and for this purpose they bought weapons and learned how to use them. The Telex portal reported this on Monday, October 21, in relation to the Hungarian government.
“The Hungarian services received information from their American partners that young people in an online group were discussing an action planned for the near future. They planned to buy weapons and use them, ” said the message.
They note that the target of attackers should be protected people.
“Due to the international events of recent months, when weapons attacked several leading politicians, the Hungarian services and the Anti-Terrorism Center paid special attention to verifying such information and obtaining necessary measures,” the Hungarian government added.
According to the portal, several young people who may be involved in planning the provocation were detained near one of the pubs in Budapest.
