At the Tisza customs post today, October 21, at night, while checking a car, officials discovered an arsenal of firearms and bladed weapons, as well as equipment that was being moved by a 61-year-old Lithuanian citizen without any permits.
This was reported by the press service of the State Customs Service.
It is noted that among the discovered items:
- a submachine gun and two magazines for it;
- three magazines for the TT-33 pistol;
- bolt frames with a trigger mechanism for the K-98 carbine and SA-26 pistol;
- barrel for SA-26 pistol;
- five bolts for SA-26 and PPS-43 submachine guns;
- two barrels for the PPS-43 submachine gun;
- two barrel blanks (60 cm long) and one barrel blank (38 cm long);
- metal knife (27 cm long);
- machine gun belt – ammunition for the MG-42 machine gun.
Firearms and bladed weapons with equipment were found in the luggage compartment and interior of the car in places that make access difficult, the department notes.
Based on this fact, a message about an unlawful act was sent to law enforcement officers, containing signs of a crime under Part 1 of Art. 201 of the Criminal Code.
