Sources in the Main Intelligence Directorate tease that they have added “drone” sanctions to the economic sanctions against this Russian enterprise.
Drones from the SBU and the Defense Forces hit the largest explosives manufacturing plant in the Russian Federation, located 900 km from the Ukrainian border. RBC-Ukraine reports this with reference to sources in Ukrainian intelligence.
“Tonight, drones from the SBU, SSO and GUR hit the Sverdlov plant in the city of Dzerzhinsk, Nizhny Novgorod region. It is an important part of the Russian military-industrial complex,” the message said.
The object was attacked by several dozen Ukrainian-made attack drones.
The company is under sanctions from the EU and the USA because the plant’s products are used to wage war in Ukraine.
“The SBU worked to strengthen sanctions against the Sverdlov plant. We added drone sanctions to economic sanctions, which had an immediate effect on reducing the enemy’s military capabilities,” the source said.
As we have already written, in Dzerzhinsk, Nizhny Novgorod region of the Russian Federation, drones attacked on October 20 the FKP Plant named after Ya M. Sverdlov, which produces explosives.
We would like to add that drones that night were seen in Lipetsk, Tula, Ryazan, Oryol, Ivanovo, Kursk and Kaluga regions.
