Airport restrictions in the Russian city are in effect from six o’clock in the morning, the Shot Telegram channel reports.
The Carpet plan was introduced at the airport in the Russian city of Kazan because of the “drone attack threat.” This was reported by the Russian pro-government Telegram channel Shot.
Restrictions were implemented at the Kazan airport from 6 a.m. due to the threat of attacks by unmanned aerial vehicles. About 20 flights were delayed in arrival and departure.
The Carpet plan is announced by air defense authorities in exceptional situations, such as the immediate threat of a drone attack. It provides for an immediate ban on all flights in the airspace within a radius of 200 km from a particular airport.
However, when this plan was implemented, there was no provision for the evacuation of civilians from the airport.
As we have already written, on Sunday night, October 20, in Dzerzhinsk, Nizhny Novgorod region of the Russian Federation, drones attacked the FKP Plant named Ya.
In addition, that night, drones were spotted in Lipetsk, Tula, Ryazan, Oryol, Ivanovo, Kursk and Kaluga regions.
