Russian troops struck an energy facility in the Sumy region on the morning of October 20. More than 100 settlements were left without electricity. Sumyoblenergo reported it.
“This morning, the Russian army hit one of the energy facilities in the Sumy region. As a result, more than 37 thousand consumers in the Romny region (104 settlements) were temporarily cut off,” the message said.
According to electricity engineers, more than 14 thousand electricity consumers were de-energized as a result of the Russian Federation military raid on border areas in the Sumy region – 130 settlements.
“All the efforts of the power engineers are aimed at continuing the distribution of electricity to every home,” assured the regional power company.
As we have already written, as a result of the night shelling by Russian troops of the community of Shostka in the Sumy region, seven people were injured and energy facilities and infrastructure were damaged.
