Several publications report that in Odessa, the head of a public formation that helped conduct TCC raids and patrol the city streets was found shot dead.
Gennady Beibutyan’s Tesla car was found in the area of the Starolustdorf road near the village of Tairovo. There seemed to be a body of a businessman nearby.
Area police reported the discovery of the body without details.
He controlled the car servicing business and headed the Laguna dacha cooperative.
Outside the sphere of entrepreneurial activity, Behbutyan created the public formation “Unit for Assistance to Law Enforcement Agencies.” Dumskaya suggests that its members helped conduct raids on the TCC and organized public watch on the city’s roads.
In February 2024, Behbutyan’s formation got into a scandal – in Odessa, on the Lustdorf road, a representative of the unit broke out a window in the car of a driver filming a checkpoint. Then the TCC and the police reported that they had nothing to do with this, and the parties personally clarified the relationship and compensated him for the cost of the broken glass.
