On October 18, Nikita Shaulsky, a soldier of the 21st separate brigade of the NSU, returned from Russian captivity.
His younger brother, 12-year-old Maxim, and grandmother Valentina died on the night of September 21, 2024 as a result of Russian shelling of Krivoy Rog.
The defender of Mariupol returned from captivity on October 18, 2024, along with other 94 defenders, ZMINA reports.
Maxim dreamed of seeing his older brother again. The 12-year-old boy actively participated in actions in support of captured Ukrainian soldiers, believed in the victory of Ukraine and worried about every defender.
Maxim and Nikita’s dad is also a military man. On the day of the tragedy, he fought in the Kherson direction.
Let us remind you that on October 18, 95 soldiers who defended Mariupol and Azovstal, Donbass, Lugansk, Kharkov, Kiev, Chernihiv, and Kherson regions returned from Russian captivity.
