Israel says it will respond to an Iranian missile attack on the country. The IDF is on high alert for defense and offense.
US President Joe Biden said he knows what Israel’s response will be to the Iranian missile attack on October 1. Bloomberg wrote this on Friday, October 18.
Biden is understood to have said this while speaking to reporters before flying from Germany to Washington after a brief visit.
The reporter asked Biden if he knew what Israel would do in response to the Iranian attack and if he knew when it would happen.
“Yes and yes,” said the head of the White House
When asked if he would share this information, the American president replied: “No and no.”
It is known that on October 1, Iran launched approximately 200 ballistic missiles at Israel. Iran’s Revolutionary Guards said on state television that the attack was in response to the killing of Hassan Nasrallah, Hezbollah’s secretary general, and that if Israel responded, it would strike again.
This Iranian missile attack resulted in only two Israeli civilian casualties. They received minor shrapnel wounds in Tel Aviv.
Israel plans to strike Iran’s military targets, not its nuclear or oil facilities. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced this to US President Joe Biden.
Earlier, Biden called on Israel not to attack Iran’s oil facilities and to be more careful about civilian casualties.
