Ukrainian human rights activist, journalist and soldier Butkevich returned home as part of a prisoner exchange with Russia. He joined the Defense Forces in March 2022 and was captured in June of the same year. This was reported by the ZMINA Human Rights Center with reference to Butkevich’s father.
