The Main Intelligence Directorate attacked satellite communications in Russia.
The Ukrainian military intelligence cyber corps launched an attack on the IT infrastructure of the national operator of the mobile satellite communications system Morssvyazsputnik. The Russian state system for controlling the movement of maritime transport was also dealt a blow. This was reported by the Babel publication, citing intelligence sources.
Hackers also attacked the transport and logistics company Fesco, the Rosmorport and Rosmorrechport enterprises.
The GUR claims that as a result of the DDOS attack, system failures occurred in access to the websites and electronic resources of the above companies. And Russian satellite communications, which are used to monitor and control the movement of maritime transport, are now unstable.
Let us remind you that on October 11, specialists from the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Education and Science carried out a cyber attack on the network infrastructure of the North Caucasus Federal University, which trains UAV operators, digital communications specialists, engineers and physicists for the Russian Armed Forces.
