The Danish government has prepared the 21st package of military aid to Ukraine in the amount of 2.4 billion Danish kroner (about 321.8 million euros). The Danish Ministry of Defense announced this on October 18.
It was noted that the new package of military aid to Ukraine provides for the provision of weapons from the warehouses of the Danish army, funding of air defense systems in cooperation with Germany and additional contributions to the International Fund for Support of Ukraine , which was led. of Britain.
In addition, the new funds will be used to expand training capabilities for the Ukrainian military.
According to Danish Defense Minister Troels Lund Poulsen, the Danish government is looking for opportunities to buy weapons, including drones, directly from manufacturers in Ukraine.
The financing still needs to be approved by the Finance Committee of the Danish Parliament.
From 2023 to 2028, Denmark has pledged DKK 64.8 billion for military support to Ukraine, implemented through a special Ukrainian fund. Here, more than 48 billion crowns have been spent or pledged.
