Denmark announced 21 packages of military assistance to Ukraine.
Copenhagen will transfer assistance to Ukraine totaling almost 321.8 million euros. The new package includes arms supplies from the Danish army, funding for air defense systems jointly with Germany and contributions to the UK-led International Fund for Ukraine. This was reported by the press service of the Danish government.
In addition, part of the Danish money will be used to expand training programs for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The Danish government is also considering the possibility of purchasing weapons, including drones, directly from manufacturers in Ukraine.
This aid package is designed to provide as much military support as possible to meet the urgent needs of Ukrainians, said Danish Defense Minister Troels Lund Poulsen.
It was decided not to disclose the detailed contents of the package for security reasons.
Let us remind you that on October 16, the United States announced a package of military assistance to Ukraine in the amount of $425 million. In particular, the Defense Forces will receive RIM-7 missiles, Stinger anti-aircraft missiles, HIMARS ammunition, 155 mm and 105 mm artillery ammunition, Javelin and AT-4 anti-tank systems, HMMWV armored vehicles and small arms and ammunition.
