Israel has officially confirmed the killing of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar. On the same day, US President Joe Biden and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had a phone conversation, Axios reports.
Biden called Netanyahu by phone from Air Force One to Germany and congratulated Netanyahu on the killing of Sinwar by Israeli soldiers operating in southern Gaza.
The US President also told the Israeli Prime Minister that after what happened, it was time to “move on” and end the war in Gaza.
