The Israel Defense Forces has released drone footage of what it says are the final moments of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar. According to the IDF, the operation took place in the city of Rafah.
It was noted that the IDF and the Shabak security service worked for months to collect intelligence and eliminate Sinwar.
“Israel will continue to pursue and destroy all those who threaten the citizens of the state of Israel. We will not stop until we capture all terrorists,” said Chief of the General Staff Harzi Halevi.
On Thursday, Israel officially confirmed the killing of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar.
Recall that Sinwar became the political leader of Hamas in early August. He replaced Ismail Haniyeh, who was killed in late July in an attack on his residence in Tehran.
