Yesterday, October 16, the current MP of Ukraine was informed of suspicion of illegal enrichment.
This was reported by the press service of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office.
Who exactly we are talking about is not specified. People’s Deputy Alexey Goncharenko said in his Telegram channel that, according to his information, this is the people’s choice from the Servant of the People, Irina Kormyshkina (previous name was Allahverdieva).
The SAPO notes that, according to the investigation:
- in 2021-2022, the people’s choice acquired assets that exceed official income and savings for this period by more than 20 million UAH;
- For the funds received as unjustified assets, a people’s deputy of Ukraine later acquired, through a legal entity, a building near Odessa in which he lives.
The actions of the People’s Deputy of Ukraine are qualified under Art. 368-5 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of the article provides for punishment in the form of imprisonment for a period of five to ten years with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for a period of up to three years, the SAPS added.
