A fire at the Pars Petro Shushtar oil refinery in Iran’s Khuzestan province has killed at least one person.

In southwestern Iran, the Pars Petro Shushtar oil refinery is burning in Shushtar. There is information about one death and several injuries. Reuters wrote this on Wednesday, October 16.

Local authorities have said that the cause of the incident was a collision between a tanker truck and fuel tanks.

They also assured that the fire “has been brought under control, but firefighters and rescuers remain at the scene.”

Another source indicated that at least one person had been killed and several casualties, but no official information was available.

In the Belgorod region, after a drone strike, a fire broke out in a fuel storage area in the region’s border region.
