The Prosecutor General’s Office identified 13 of the 16 Ukrainian Armed Forces servicemen who surrendered but were shot by the Russians.
Law enforcement agencies identified the names of 13 of the 16 killed servicemen who surrendered at Pokrovsky’s direction. This was announced by the head of the Department of War of the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine, Yuriy Belousov, wrote Ucrinform on Tuesday, October 15th.
“Regarding the latest cases, we are executing the execution of 16 fighters and establishing the data of our 13 military personnel on three others because there is no access to the military unit,” he said.
A representative of the Office of the Prosecutor General noted that the employees of the SBU have identified a unit of the Russian Federation that may be involved in the execution.
The official also commented on the shooting of nine Ukrainian fighters on October 10 in Russia’s Kursk region.
“We understand who these fighters are now the details of the killing of our prisoners of war we know the location where it happened in the Kursk region, and we are working with two Russian units that may be involved in the execution. ,” said Belousov.
According to him, last year the number of executions of Ukrainian prisoners of war increased.
