The United States demands from Zelensky mobilized young men aged 18-25 years.
This was stated by Advisor to the Head of the Presidential Office Sergei Leshchenko on social networks.
If this information has surfaced, I can confirm: American politicians of both parties are putting pressure on President Zelensky on the question of why mobilization of those aged 18 to 25 is not being carried out in Ukraine. The partners’ argument is this: when there was a US war in Vietnam, people were taken there at the age of 19,” Leshchenko wrote.
According to him, the Americans are hinting that Western weapons alone are not enough, mobilization is needed from the age of 18.
President Zelensky did not push through and continues to convince politicians from both parties to give weapons without changing the conscription age, he added.
