Severe weather changes are expected in Ukraine on Wednesday, October 16. Thus, frosts of up to -3 degrees are predicted in the west, rain in the south, and cold weather with occasional rain in Kyiv.
Forecasters Natalya Didenko noted that October will prove to be one of the main creative months of the year.
In the western regions, frosts of 0-3 degrees are expected at night, during the day the temperature will be from +9 to +12, and in Transcarpathia – up to +16 degrees. In the north, periodic rains are predicted, and the temperature will be +8+11 degrees.
Rain is also possible in the central regions, with daytime temperatures ranging from +9 to +13 degrees. The eastern regions will experience rain, but the temperature will be warmer – from +11 to +14 degrees. In the south you should expect rain, heavy in places, with a temperature of +11+16 degrees.
While in Kyiv the weather is cloudy, sultry, with temperature at night +3+4 degrees and during the day around +10 degrees. Didenko advises to insulate yourself, because without heating it will be cold in the houses.
In this regard, the State Emergency Service warned about an orange level of danger due to frosts that will cover most regions of Ukraine starting October 17.
“We are bringing out jackets and scarves, because starting tomorrow and for the next three days, severe frost of 0-5° is expected in almost all of Ukraine (danger level II, orange),” the message said.
