On the night of today, October 15, Russian invaders carried out another massive air attack on Ukraine.
This was reported by the press service of the Air Force Command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The enemy attacked:
- Nikolaev region with seven S-300/400 anti-aircraft guided missiles from the Crimea;
- Chernihiv and Sumy regions with two X-59 guided aircraft missiles from the airspace of the Kursk region;
- 17 attack UAVs (Russian launch areas Kursk and Primorsko-Akhtarsk).
Aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units and mobile fire groups of the Air Force and Defense Forces of Ukraine were involved in repelling the attack, the report said.
As a result:
- during anti-aircraft combat, 12 enemy UAVs were shot down in Nikolaev, Kyiv, Odessa, Poltava, Chernigov, Kirovograd and Cherkassy regions;
- four Russian drones were lost by location, probably due to active countermeasures by electronic warfare;
- another UAV is in the air. Combat work continues.
