Kovalenko added that less than 1% of DPRK army personnel speak Russian.
The head of the Center for Combating Disinformation of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Andriy Kovalenko, said that the information about the alleged preparations of the DPRK military to get involved in the war in Ukraine is false.
“The information about the training of 100 thousand military personnel of the DPRK and their deployment on the territory of Ukraine, which appeared in the media, is now fiction,” he said.
Kovalenko added that less than 1% of DPRK army personnel speak Russian.
“This is important to understand in order to study the possibilities of involving these military personnel in the actions of the Russian Army in the future,” emphasized the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation.
We remind you that South Korean Defense Minister Kim Yong Hyun said that the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) may send its military to Ukraine in support of Russia.
The media wrote that we are talking about 10 to 100 thousand military personnel to help Russia, and several thousand soldiers from North Korea are now being trained in Russia.
Zelensky commented on replenishing the ranks of the occupiers with military personnel from the DPRK
