Forced passportization of residents of the occupied Lugansk region continues.
This was reported by the press service of the Lugansk Public Educational Institution.
Six months after Putin’s election, when it became clear that the percentage of those passported differed significantly from the officially declared one, the situation did not change radically. As well as the status of a document issued in the so-called “LPR”, it is still not recognized in Russia, notes the OVA.
It is noted that if Luhansk residents travel to Russian territory, despite having a Russian passport, additional checks are expected. And when returning from abroad, there is increased filtration. The same as for those who do not have Russian documents.
They may prohibit you from returning even with a Russian passport. The Russians did not recognize the population of the occupied territory. These people are strangers to them,” the OVA noted.
