The fighting in Ukraine does not stop – over the past 24 hours there have been 169 clashes at the front.
The situation at the front is difficult. The enemy has an advantage in manpower and equipment and is constantly attacking Ukrainian positions. Another 23 attacks were recorded in the Kupyansky direction, and in the Pokrovsky direction, Ukrainian troops stopped 20 assaults. Eight enemy attacks were repelled in the Kramatorsk direction, one unsuccessful enemy assault took place in the Kharkov direction.
The General Staff also informed that in the Kursk region yesterday, Russian aviation carried out 18 strikes with 23 aerial bombs on its own territory.
Meanwhile, Russia’s military losses continue to rise. Yesterday, the Defense Forces “killed” 1,290 of their Russians, and also destroyed nine tanks, 27 armored fighting vehicles, 59 artillery systems, one MLRS, 110 drones, 115 vehicles and 38 units of special equipment.
The enemy’s total combat losses from February 24, 2022 to October 12, 2024 were approximately:
- personnel – about 667 thousand 630 (+1 thousand 290) people,
- tanks – 8 thousand 962 (+9) units,
- armored combat vehicles – 17 thousand 827 (+27) units,
- artillery systems – 19 thousand 381 (+59) units,
- MLRS – 1 thousand 230 (+1) units,
- air defense systems – 976 (+0) units,
- aircraft – 369 (+0) units,
- helicopters – 329 (+0) units,
- UAV of operational-tactical level – 16 thousand 947 (+110),
- cruise missiles – 2 thousand 619 (+0),
- ships/boats/warships/boats – 28 (+0) units,
- submarines – 1 (+0) units,
- automotive equipment and tank trucks – 26 thousand 513 (+115) units,
- special equipment – 3 thousand 434 (+38).
Let us recall that the Ukrainian authorities reported that the Ukrainian Defense Forces control about 40-50% of the territory of the city of Toretsk in the Donetsk region. The remaining territories are already occupied by Russian troops. The Ukrainian Armed Forces still hold positions in the village, despite the invaders’ attempts to capture it completely.
