After receiving applications from citizens, inspections are sent to MSEC centers “to see if the complaints are confirmed or not.”
The Ministry of Health received more than 3 thousand complaints about the work of medical and social expert commissions. Health Minister Viktor Lyashko said this on Thursday, October 10, during a telethon.
“The Ministry of Health conducted three rounds of medical and social inspection examinations (MSEC), about 90 thousand cases were examined to establish disability for men of military age of which 3.5 thousand case was sent for review,” he said.
He noted that these cases were conducted with law enforcement agencies.
“We see the results of these tests today with the presentation of suspicion to people who carry out certain manipulations that lead to a person illegally receiving a disability,” said Lyashko.
“And in relation to the Khmelnytsky MSEC, for example, immediately based on the results of the complaints, an inspection was sent, and the head of the regional administration was informed to cooperate with the regional MSEC, because we see that there are problems there. . We worked – you all saw the results last week”, he pointed out.
He urged people to call the hotlines and report irregularities in the work of MSEC, if any.
He also said that the Ministry of Health is working on reforming the medical and social examination. Specifically, the reform provides “targeted changes that should simplify the process of passing the MSEC and prevent manipulation.” A general reform of the MSEC is also expected, which includes changes in the medical and social components.
During the searches, the head of the MSEC in the Khmelnitsky region, Tatyana Krupa, and her relatives were found to have $6 million in cash and many other assets. The woman is a representative from the Servant of the People in the Khmelnitsky Regional Council. Krupa has been working as the chief physician of the regional MSEC since 2008.
