The Times of Israel says we are talking about the head of the terrorist organization’s communication and coordination unit, Wafika Safu.
Israel struck the center of the Lebanese capital Beirut. The target of the attack was the head of Hezbollah’s communications and coordination unit, Wafik Safa. This was reported by The Times of Israel.
A Lebanese security source confirmed to Reuters that the Israeli strike in central Beirut targeted at least one senior Hezbollah figure.
It was the third such attack outside Beirut’s southern suburbs since Israel stepped up its campaign against Hezbollah last month.
The media said Safa used Lebanese ports and crossing points for smuggling.
Before this, the Israeli military announced on October 10 that it had removed another Hezbollah member, Adham Jahout, who was responsible for intelligence.
In addition, on October 7, during an attack on the Lebanese capital Beirut, Israel killed a senior Hezbollah commander.
