The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine announced plans to conduct an audit of critical enterprises for reservations before November 15. The check will affect only those enterprises that have received critical status from local governments, First Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Ivan Gavrilyuk said at a government meeting.
The decision was made because there was a sharp increase in the number of people booked. In two years there were 540 thousand people, and here in a couple of months the increase has doubled,” Gavrilyuk stated to Public.
It should be noted that the day before, on October 9, The Page published the text of the government decision, according to which until November 15, the operation of certain provisions on the definition of critical enterprises was suspended.
In addition, the online publication “European Truth,” citing its own sources, reported that the decision was made due to the fact that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky was outraged by the fact that 1.5 million people had been booked from mobilizing.
