Meanwhile, the BBC noted that Hurricane Milton has weakened to category one. Now its center is 105 kilometers from Cape Canaveral in Florida. The maximum wind speed is 150 km/h.
The heaviest rain is now occurring in the Orlando area, northeast of the storm’s center.
It was previously reported that 14 Florida counties have evacuated residents due to Hurricane Milton.
