The average cash dollar sales rate in Ukraine rose to 41.49 Hryvnia, and the average euro exchange rate fell to 45.78 Hryvnia.
The hryvnia exchange rate continued its gradual decline against the dollar, amid further growth against the euro. RBC-Ukraine reported this in connection with market monitoring data on Thursday, October 10.
So, the average selling rate of the dollar in Ukraine increased by 5 kopecks – to 41.49 Hryvnia. When buying, the average rate remains at 41 hryvnia.
Meanwhile, the average euro exchange rate continues to decrease: at the sale of 5 kopecks – up to 45.78 Hryvnia, at the purchase of 18 kopecks – up to 45.26 Hryvnia.
In the interbank market, the American currency rose by 1 kopeck and was at the level of 41.17-41.22 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) compared to the previous day’s close.
Yesterday, the National Bank slightly increased the official dollar exchange rate – 41.1934 UAH (+0.0178 UAH). The euro exchange rate is currently set at UAH 45.1274 (-0.1163 UAH).
We remind you that the NBU reduced the sale of foreign currency for the second week in a row. In total, from the beginning of 2024, the regulator sells more than $24 billion in the interbank market.
It also became known that the National Bank will set the hryvnia exchange rate in a new way. The regulator presented a plan for moving to a – daily – basket of currencies to establish the official exchange rate.
