Russian invaders have launched another massive air attack on Ukraine.
The press service of the Air Force Command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported this today, October 7.
It is noted that:
- in the period from 20.00 on October 6 to 8.30 on October 7, they attacked Ukraine with an Iskander-M ballistic missile guided by an X-59 aircraft missile, a missile of an unidentified type from the Kursk and Belgorod regions, as well as attack drones (launch areas: Russian Orel, Primorsko-Akh , Kursk and Yeisk);
- At about 08.20, the enemy struck with three Kh-47M2 Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles from three MiG-31K aircraft from the airspace of the Tambov region of the Russian Federation (departure airfield – Savasleika).
In total, the radio technical troops of the Air Force detected and tracked more than 80 air targets, the Air Force said. — The air attack was repelled by anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units and mobile fire groups of the Air Force and the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
As a result:
- the downing of two Kh-47M2 Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles was confirmed in the Kyiv region;
- the beating of 32 enemy attack UAVs was confirmed in the Nikolaev, Kyiv, Dnepropetrovsk, Sumy, Chernigov, Poltava and Kharkov regions;
- Several hits by enemy attack UAVs were recorded in the front-line Kharkov region;
- one of the three “Daggers” hit the area of the Starokonstantinov airfield in the Khmelnytsky region;
- 37 Russian drones were locally lost in different regions of Ukraine, presumably as a result of active counteraction to electronic warfare. Information is being clarified;
- one UAV in the air. Combat work continues.
