In Kharkov, a woman was killed in a beauty salon.
She came for a fashionable body care procedure, Sergei Bolvinov, head of the Investigative Department of the State Directorate of Police in the Kharkov region, wrote on his Facebook.
The procedure was to be performed by the owner of the clinic. She called herself a surgeon, even on the doors of the office where she performed manipulations there was an operating room sign. Work on the abdominal area. But at some point everything went wrong.
The patient felt bad, then even worse. She complained to the clinic staff, but instead she was given another dose of lidocaine.
The whole process was recorded on cameras – the video shows how the patient first bends over in pain, then screams wildly and fights in convulsions. And after a few minutes he simply dies. The staff tried to resuscitate her, but in vain.
Almost fifteen times the dose of lidocaine, forensic experts were shocked by such analyzes. 59 injection marks were found on the victim’s body.
It was possible to establish why this happened almost immediately. The procedure was performed by a charlatan posing as a surgeon. She is 33 years old and by profession she is a pharmacist-cosmetologist, she studied to become a doctor at KhNU. Karazin, but was only an intern, writes Bolvinov.
She had no right to carry out such manipulations with clients. She began doing lipolysis, as well as pain-relieving injections, without a license. Experts confirmed that only a surgeon or anesthesiologist has the right to do this. During the search of the clinic, it was not possible to find any medical documents – only the so-called information consents from clients on the clinic’s forms.
After the tragedy at the clinic, the pseudo-surgeon herself tried to deny that she did not perform the procedure at all. Then she tried to shift the blame to the nurse. And later she simply refused to talk.
Investigators found out that the cosmetologist performed lipolysis in the abdominal area for the first time in her life. But before that she had already carried out similar manipulations without a license. One of the victims was a woman who came for a hip correction. She remained alive, but suffered – she received a double dose of lidocaine. This patient told investigators that she had to restore her health after visiting a quack.
“We have collected enough evidence, materials and testimony, we have clarifications from the Ministry of Health and have already informed the woman of suspicion of murder by negligence,” the law enforcement officer said.
Her victim left behind a young son. The girl was loved and respected by her work colleagues. She achieved everything without outside help and always strived for perfection. The little boy is being raised by his father.
For now, even the simplest cosmetic procedures cannot be performed in the clinic.
