Among the awards are the Orders of Bohdan Khmelnitsky and For Courage, medals For Military Service of Ukraine, Defender of the Fatherland and For Saved Life, as well as the Cross of Military Merit.
President Vladimir Zelensky awarded 362 defenders of Ukraine with state awards, 116 of them posthumously. The corresponding order is published on the website of the head of state.
The awards are given for personal courage shown in defense of state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, and for selfless performance of military duty.
