Ukraine’s state budget revenues decreased in September compared to August. Prior to this, state budget revenues fell for six months in a row.
In September, the general fund of the state budget of Ukraine received UAH 122.9 billion in taxes, fees and compulsory payments. In total, by the end of September 2024, the general and special funds of the state budget received UAH 231.6 billion in taxes, fees and other payments. This is lower than in August, the press service of the Ministry of Finance reports.
It is noted that in August, state budget revenues reached UAH 386.2 billion. thanks to the transfer of 228.1 billion UAH. international aid.
Prior to this, state budget revenues fell for six months in a row. In July, the budget received only UAH 120 billion in taxes, fees and compulsory payments.
According to the Ministry of Finance, the main sources of income in September were:

UAH 40.2 billion – VAT on goods imported into the customs territory of Ukraine;

UAH 22.6 billion – VAT on goods produced in Ukraine (UAH 36.4 billion collected, UAH 13.8 billion refunded);

UAH 21.3 billion – excise tax;

UAH 20.2 billion – personal income tax and military tax;

UAH 5.6 billion – corporate income tax;

UAH 4.1 billion – import and export duties;

UAH 3.7 billion – rent for subsoil use.
The fulfillment of the monthly income of the State Tax Service reached 104.8%, and of the State Customs Service – 86.9%.
According to the State Treasury Service, in January-September 2024, the general fund of the state budget received UAH 1.54 trillion.
We remind you that on September 20, the Rada began to consider the draft state budget for 2025. MPs have until October 1 to make proposals, and the first vote will take place before October 20.
