In Ukraine, as of October 1, since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion, 1 thousand 41 people have been injured due to enemy mines and explosive remnants of war – of which 99 children and 942 adults.
This was reported by the press service of the Main Directorate of Mine Action, Civil Protection and Environmental Safety.
Representatives of the following professions suffered the most from explosive objects:
- farmers – 191 people;
- unemployed – 163 people (of which 73 are pensioners);
- critical infrastructure workers – 110 people;
- drivers – 78 people;
- students – 86 people.
Law enforcement agencies of Ukraine open criminal proceedings for violation by the Russian Federation of the rules and customs of warfare upon the fact of each explosion among the Ukrainian civilian population on Russian mines, the department notes.
