An official announcement of permission for long-term strikes on Russian territory will follow after the strikes themselves.
The Russians themselves will be the first to know about the West’s permission to strike deep into Russia. Presidential Speaker Sergei Nikiforov announced this on Saturday, September 28, during a telethon.
He noted that there is still no final permission from the partners for long-term strikes with their weapons deep in Russia, but Ukraine continues to work on this matter.
“First, it is important to understand that the Russians themselves will be the first to know about the permission to strike deep into Russian territory, they will be the first to know, and then an official announcement will be made when this is done,” Nikiforov said.
According to him, the partners have not yet made a final decision on such a permit, but President Vladimir Zelensky has conducted negotiations with all parties on which this decision depends – including Italy, France, UK and USA.
Let’s remember that, according to British Foreign Secretary David Lemmy, the decision to remove restrictions for Ukraine on the use of Western long-range weapons against military targets in Russia will be made before the start of winter.
