Yesterday, September 28, the Israeli army attacked the central headquarters of the Lebanese group Hezbollah in Beirut.
Subsequently, information appeared in the media that Hezbollah leader Sayed Hassan Nasrallah stopped communicating after the airstrike.
Today, September 29, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) on its page on the social network X announced the liquidation of Nasrallah.
Hassan Nasrallah will no longer be able to terrorize the world, the message says.
The IDF also stated that in addition to the liquidation of Nasrallah, as a result of recent airstrikes in Lebanon, a number of other Hezbollah commanders were also killed, in particular:
- Muhammad Ali Ismail, commander of Hezbollah’s rocket unit in southern Lebanon;
- his deputy Hussein Ahmad Ismail.
When and where exactly the retaliatory strike took place is not specified.
Ali Ismail was responsible for directing numerous terrorist attacks against the State of Israel, including firing rockets toward Israeli territory and firing a surface-to-surface missile toward central Israel on Wednesday, the IDF said.
This happened after the liquidation of terrorist Ibrahim Muhammad Kabisi, the head of Hezbollah’s rocket forces, as well as other senior commanders of this unit, the Israeli army added.
