In the city of Sumy, seven people died and 12 were seriously injured as a result of the Russian attack on Saturday morning, September 28. A video from the epicenter of the explosions appeared online.

The regional prosecutor’s office informed that at the time of the explosions there were 86 patients in the hospital, 15 of them with limited mobility, and 38 employees of the institution.
In connection with the attack on the hospital, a pre-trial investigation is being conducted for violation of the laws and customs of war accompanied by premeditated murder (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

Earlier on Saturday it was reported that the Russians had launched a double attack on Sumy. A health care facility and housing sector in the regional center came under attack from suicide bombers. It was later learned that people had died because of the Russian attack.
