The leader of the right-wing Alternative for Germany (AfD) party, Tino Chrupalla, announced the need to restore the Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines, and called for those responsible for destroying them to be punished. He wrote it on social networks X.
Khrupalla noted that two years ago, on September 26, “enemies of energy independence” in Germany blew up pipelines, which dealt a serious blow to German industry.
“Our parliamentary group calls for investigation and punishment of all those responsible,” Khrupalla wrote. The politician also emphasized that gas pipelines must be “repaired, reopened and protected.”
Earlier, Germany said that the investigation into the sabotage of the Nord Stream gas pipeline is the highest priority for Germany, but its results will not harm relations with Ukraine.
