The Prosecutor General’s Office has established the whereabouts of the people’s deputy who fled from Ukraine.
As part of cooperation with the competent authorities of a foreign country, the Prosecutor General’s Office is preparing materials for the extradition of a Ukrainian MP who is wanted for hiding from the justice system in Ukraine. This was announced by the OGP on September 26.
Currently, the deputy’s location has been established and the court has determined a preventive measure for him, the department noted.
They also recalled that the fugitive MP is suspected of committing a group of attacks on a law enforcement officer and a military man, attempting to steal a firearm, causing moderate bodily harm to the victim, and hooliganism.
The Prosecutor General’s Office did not name the MP, but from the details of the case it is clear that we are talking about Artem Dmytruk, who fled from Ukraine to Great Britain.
Let us recall that the British publication The Independent recently reported that MP Artem Dmytruk, who illegally fled from Ukraine to London, will appear before a court in Great Britain. The parliamentarian wants to appeal the extradition request from the Ukrainian government.
