In August, Ukrainians spent almost UAH 15 billion on purchasing new passenger cars, which is 45% more than last year and 28% more than the previous month.
About half of this amount was spent on cars of just five brands, UkrAvtoProm reports. In particular, the most was paid for a premium German BMW car — UAH 2.15 billion.
The second result was taken by Toyota, whose dealers earned UAH 2.14 billion. Mercedes-Benz came in third place – UAH 1.2 billion.
The top five is rounded out by Volkswagen – UAH 948 million, and Audi – UAH 752 million.
In addition, in August Ukrainians did not skimp on new cars of such brands as: Skoda, Land Rover, Renault, Lexus and Nissan.
