The strikes destroyed intelligence collection facilities, command posts and additional infrastructure.
The Israel Defense Forces carried out airstrikes on 60 targets linked to the intelligence arm of the Lebanese Shiite movement Hezbollah. The IDF press service reported this on Telegram on Wednesday, September 25.
“So far, according to the Directorate of Military Intelligence, our fighters have hit 60 terrorist targets of the Hezbollah intelligence department,” the statement said.
According to the IDF, the strikes destroyed intelligence collection facilities, command posts and additional infrastructure used by the enemy to assess the situation.
Let’s recall that the Israeli military last week launched a massive operation to strike Hezbollah targets in Lebanon. Hezbollah forces, in turn, continue to fire rockets into Israeli territory.
The previous day, the IDF, during an airstrike south of Beirut, removed the commander of the Hezbollah missile forces, Ibrahim Qubaisi.
