The Netherlands has announced a new support package of 209.5 million euros aimed at restoring critical infrastructure, the diplomat wrote.
The Minister noted that assistance will be provided, in particular, through the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, as well as in the form of humanitarian aid.
Of the more than 200 million euros, part is directed to the Energy Support Fund for Ukraine. Thus, 45 million euros will finance the supply of necessary equipment, which should help Ukrainians cope with energy challenges in the conditions of a full-scale war.
Let us recall that on September 20 it became known that the European Commission would provide Ukraine with a loan of 35 billion euros. President Volodymyr Zelensky said that these funds would be spent primarily on energy and its protection. Also, part of the money should go to bomb shelters for children in schools, kindergartens, and universities. In addition, some funds will be directed to weapons, but primarily domestically produced.
